Women’s Golf ‘Wanted’ winners announced

The Women’s Golf Club held its annual fall golf tournament, “Wanted,” on November 21, followed by lunch at the Country Club. The committee of Lila Gann, Sue Hoover, Clair Bond and Jeanette Williams want to thank everyone for their help and participation. The winners are as follows in teams of four:

A Flight

1st Place Gross: Mike and Pat Spencer, Carlos and Alice Ramirez.

2nd Place Gross: Travis and Valerie Montgomery. Leroy Nelson and Cathy Barr.

1st Place Net: Tom Fuhrman, James and Carol Paulis and Janice Koon

2nd Place Net: Joe and Linda Kamashian and Dudley and Judy Thompson.

B Flight

1st Place Gross: Robb Smith, Maxine Whalen, Marlene and Bob Cathro.

2nd Place Gross: Richard and Bonny Tucker, Neal Wagerle and Sandy Coleman.

1st Place Net: Robert and Ina Picard, Chuck and Linda Hudson

2nd Place Net: Ed and Darlene Cortez, Vince and Mimi LaRosa

The Women’s Golf Club’s annual Christmas Tournament and Board of Directors Installation is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9. The 9-hole shotgun scramble will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The Women’s Golf Club meets regularly on Tuesdays to play 18 holes of golf.  TLWGC is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association, responsible for handicapping services for members.  Applications are available in the Pro Shop. For more information, contact Sue Sell at 951-443-5940.
