‘Fallen Soldiers’ recognized on Veterans Day

During last week’s Veterans Day Ceremony, the Veterans Day Committee honored several veterans and at least one active duty military member who passed away within the past year with red roses placed in sconces at the Veterans Monument.

The mistress of ceremonies, Boatswains Mate Chief Petty Officer Michelle Wynn, United States Navy, Retired, read the names of the Fallen Soldiers as members of the Elsinore High School Flying Tigers Junior ROTC assisted Wendy Munio in the placing of the roses at the monument. Wendy is the daughter-in-law of Anthony Munio.
