After Lunch Bunch

The After Lunch Bunch once again is playing its Friday games in Canyon Lake. Last week the group played at the Dos Lagos Golf Course in Corona. The format was Individual Tin Whistle with two flights. Results were as follows:

A Flight – 1st: Don Raworth, 26; 2nd: Jack Gray, 24; 3rd: Fran Pothier, 23; 4th: Bob Stinson, 18

B Flight – 1st: Sven Henrichsen, 26; 2nd: Lee Lilly, 23; 3rd: Jim Musser, 20; 4th: Gordon Westby, 19

Skins winners were Dale Willingham, Jack Gray, Don Raworth and Bob Stinson.

Next Friday, November 6, the game will be Partners Best Ball; players can pick their own foursome.

The weekly game is open to all Canyon Lakers with an established handicap. Signups take place on Friday mornings in the Magnolia Room, or by phone at 249-4565 or 237-6102. Tee time is 10 a.m. The entry fee is $5; there is an optional skins game for an additional $5.

Men’s Golf

The Men’s Golf Club is a member of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) and holds regular open meetings the first Wednesday of each month in the Magnolia Room at the Country Club.

Women’s Golf

The Women’s Golf Club meets regularly on Tuesdays to play 18 holes of golf. CLWGC is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association, responsible for handicapping services for members. 9ers Golf

The 9ers Golf Club is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association. The group tees off at 10 a.m. on Thursdays for nine holes of golf. Any level golfer is welcome, including those who’ve only had a few lessons. Be in the Magnolia Room 30 minutes before tee time. Family Golf Club

The Family Golf Club is a member of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA). It holds open meetings the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Country Club.  Members play Wednesday afternoons. Applications for the Family Golf Club are available at clfamilygolf.com or contact Mary Leathley at 951-244-0114.
