9ers host Babes and Chicks tourney

Just prior to the annual closing of the Golf Course for over-seeding, the Canyon Lake 9ers hosted its annual Babes and Chicks Tournament. This event is greatly anticipated and, as usual, had a good turnout for the day of golf, followed by a lunch and prize drawing.

The club would like to thank all the participants for making this tournament such a success, with a special thank you to the restaurant staff and the Golf Pro Shop. The 9ers tournament committee was Darlene Crinion, Kim Robinson and Teresa Roberson.

The winners were as follows:

1st Place: Darlene Crinion, Phyllis Weed, Betty Henry and Dianne Schneider

2nd Place: Donna Nunez, Kathy Sanchez, Linda Kielty and Maxine Whalen

3rd Place: Rose Marie Hand, Janice Koon and Janis McNeil

Spokesperson Kathy Sanchez says, “The Canyon Lake 9ers Golf Club is all about having fun! We always welcome newcomers, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned golfer. Come join us!”
