Visit ‘Octopus Garden’ today at the CL Library

“Octopus Garden Under the Sea” will be the theme of Miss Ginny’s Craft and Story Time today, October 9, at 11:30 a.m. in the City Multi-purpose Room/Council Chamber. The program is for ages 3 to 5 and includes stories, music, movement and a craft. The next story time will be October 23.

The weekly Toddler Story Time will not meet Monday, October 12, when the County of Riverside offices and branch libraries are closed for Columbus Day. The program will be back at 11 a.m. on Monday October 19.

The Library’s Knitting Program is helping participants understand the knitting instructions for special gifts for the holidays. The program does not select projects; it assists people through what they themselves have chosen. This social/educational program supports both beginner and experienced knitters who choose to venture into untried territory. The program meets at 11 a.m. every Wednesday until mid-November when they take a holiday vacation until mid-January.

The next Spanish Time program will meet Monday, October 19, at 3 p.m. Children in grades K-5 are exposed to Spanish terms in a fun way.

The Canyon Lake Library is a branch of the Riverside County Library System accepting returns and cards from other area libraries.  Located in the Canyon Lake City Hall, it is outside the gates, available to a wide community of service. Library hours are Monday, 10 to 7; Wednesday and Friday, 10 to 6; and Saturday, 10-3. The Library is closed Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
