Homes Wanted for Home Tour

A71-PIC-holiday-houses-wanted-stairsHomes Wanted for Home TourCanyon Lakers who love to decorate for Christmas or who live in a beautiful and/or unusual home, are invited to put it on display in the Woman’s Club’s annual Holiday Home Tour. Homeowners are welcome to decorate their own homes or receive the help of Woman’s Club members to get their home ready for the tour. This year’s theme is “There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays.”

Golf Course Over-Seeding

Each year the Association closes the Golf Course for approximately three weeks to over-seed the fairways, roughs, tees and green surrounds. This year’s over-seeding is taking place between Monday, October 5, through Friday, October 23. During this time the Golf Course and Pro Shop will be closed. They will reopen Monday, October 26. The Country Club Restaurant and Lounge will be closed October 12 through 15 and will reopen Friday, October 16.

CLPOA Recall Election

An Irrevocable Mail-In Secret Ballot with voting instructions was mailed on September 15. Anyone who has not already mailed his or her ballot may bring it in person to the Special Meeting of Members at the Lodge by 8 a.m. October 15. For ballot related questions, call Inspector of Elections Stanley Feldsott at 949-729-8002.

Veterans Memorial bricks

vet-bricksThose who would like to order a commemorative brick for the Veterans Monument patio in time for this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony should do so by October 20. The City of Canyon Lake sells bricks to honor veterans and active duty military at the Veterans Memorial. The applications are available at City Hall or at www.cityofcanyonlake.org.
