Marjorie B. Lesser, passed away August 14, 2015 in the presence of John and Erin Johnson, at their home. John is Marjorie’s nephew.

She was born December 21, 1927 in Butte, Montana. She went to L.A. City College and worked at a big firm in Los Angeles. After retirement, she moved in with her sister, Shirley Johnson, in Canyon Lake and lived there for the past 25 years. They frequently visited Pepe’s and were in charge of the football pool there. They were referred to as “The Sisters.” One could often see Marge and Shirley in their little green Ford Focus at garage sales around Canyon Lake. Marge also was very involved in the American Legion. She loved to travel and was a past member of the Canyon Lake Travel Club. She was a very strong and truthful woman and you knew where you stood in her life.

Shirley preceded her in death in 2013. The sisters are back together again and will be dearly missed. Marge is survived by her nephews, Jay Johnson and John Johnson, and nieces, Jerene Mowery and Julie Daugherty.

A celebration of Marge’s life will be held September 18, at 3 p.m. at Lamb’s Fellowship, 21901 Railroad Canyon Rd. in Lake Elsinore.
