Paul Clare and his friend, Sean Martin (pictured) had a good night of fishing in the North Ski Area last week, with Sean catching 10 bass, all weighing more than 5 pounds each. The second picture was taken at Harrelson Park at dusk.
Because night fishing is so popular, the CLPOA Board of Directors this week approved a 30-day reading for a new rule that would allow residents to park their vehicles in parks after hours if they obtain a one-day fishing parking pass. The idea behind the rule is that it would provide Community Patrol the ability to tell if a member is fishing, and therefore, the reason their vehicle is in the park after closure. Members who would like to comment on the proposed rule (GR.4.4c1) should contact the Board within the next 30 days.
