After Lunch Bunch

From now until October 1, the ALB tee time will be 8:30 a.m., with signups in the Magnolia Room between 7:15 and 8 a.m.. This allows everyone time to finish the course before it gets too hot.

Last week’s format was 2 Best Balls of the Foursome with the following results:

1st: Tim Brown, Roger Kielty, Chuck Hudson and Joe Henderson, 114;

2nd: Tom Scudieri, Bill Hallahan, Dennis Franks and Pete Mortensen, 115.

The Course Record for 2 Best Balls is 107. The six skins winners were Dennis Franks, Bill Hallahan, Tim Brown, Fran Pothier, Joe Henderson and Roger Kielty.

The format for next week’s game is Partners Best Ball; the committee will pick teams.

The After Lunch Bunch’s weekly game is open to all Canyon Lakers with an established handicap.

The “Bunch” plays every Friday. Signups take place between 7:15 and 8 a.m. on Friday mornings in the Magnolia Room or by phone at 249-4565 or 237-6102. The entry fee is $5; there is an optional skins game for an additional $5.
