CLLL holds closing ceremonies

Canyon Lake Little League has finished regular play for the 2015 Spring season, with closing ceremonies held Saturday, May 30 at Gault Field. According Commissioner Jim Wagoner, about 225 kids played for CLLL this season.

In addition to honoring the teams and volunteers, the closing day ceremonies included food, drinks, giant slides and prizes, as well as the all-star game for the AA Division (7- and 8-year-olds), won by the Orange team.

The Junior Division Blue Jays won the District 28 Tournament of Champions and is playing in Sectionals.

All-Star games for the AAA (ages 9 and 10), Major (ages 11 and 12), Junior (ages 13 and 14) and Senior (ages 15 and 16) divisions will take place mostly in Lake Elsinore and are scheduled to begin in mid to late June, depending on the division.

Fall Ball signups will be announced soon.
