You’re responsible!
Canyon Lakers are reminded that they are responsible for their family members and guests when they are called into the community. According to access control rule 3.205, “the prime member is responsible for the actions of his/her family, guests, renters and lessees and for any charges, fines or other liabilities incurred by them.”
Gas dock hours
Gas dock hours at the Campground are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
The Campground also sells bait and tackle, as well as fishing poles, weights, jibs, line, hooks and sinkers. In addition, all kinds of bait can be purchased there, including night crawlers, Hog Wild and mealworms.
POA website
There are many interesting features at www.canyonlakepoa.com. Those who want to visit must be members of the Association. They will be asked to set up a user’s name and pass word and there is a 24-hour turn-around to log in the first time. (Longer if logging in over the weekend.)
Once online, members can not only receive documents, forms and other POA information, but they also can post garage sale information, share hobby information and find out more about their neighbors.
Clubs that have websites are invited to link them to the new POA site. The Member Services Department continues to add more information to the site, according to Ramona Radu, manager.
Fishing permits
The Member Services Department has made it easier for guests of residents to get fishing permits in Canyon Lake. According to Ramona Radu, manager of the department, as long as a guest has a copy of his or her California fishing license on file with the POA, the prime or associate member can pick up the permit in advance of the guest’s arrival.
Feedback hotline
In an effort to provide better service to the membership of Canyon Lake, as well as to monitor the level of service provided by various departments within the Association-POA management has instituted a quality assurance program.
Among the areas to be monitored are phone etiquette, guest call-ins, general information requests, membership service, member counter operations, accounting inquiries, correspondence follow up, facilities inspections, phone administration, dining experience, food quality and special events. A hotline has been established so Canyon Lakers can call with their concerns or comments in these various areas.
Callers should dial 244-6841, Ext. 800, to leave their names, phone numbers ~
and tract and lot numbers. Calls will be returned in a timely manner.
ACH program
Canyon Lakers are reminded that they can sign up for an automatic monthly withdrawal program to pay their assessments. Just drop by the Administration Office and sign up.
You’re appreciated!
The Member Services Department will once again sponsor its annual “Member Appreciation Day” next Wednesday, September 15. Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Canyon Lakers who stop by will be asked to fill out a survey regarding the service they receive from the POA staff.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day. Everyone who participates will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to receive a $50 gift certificate good for the Country Club or Lighthouse Restaurant.
