Mommy and MeMommy and Me, a nonprofit club for kids 18 months to 5 years and their mothers, has been dark through the summer months and is getting ready to start its Fall/Winter semester this month. Pictured here, Jenna Hillenbrand, Emily Signorio and Nick Johnson show off T-shirts that will be sold to new members at a cost of $8 each. Registration will take place today, September 10, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Canyon Lake Lodge. “We will be set up on the lawn near the playground and the beach,” says Director Wendy Signorio. “So bring your sunscreen, swim trunks and sand buckets, and weíll provide the snacks and drinks.” Cost for the semester is $55 per child ages 18 months to 5 years. The fee will cover eight fun and exciting events planned on the second and fourth Friday of the month from September through December. Outings will include trips to “The Painting Goose,” “Cold Stone Creamery,” an Indian Pilgrim Day at the Lodge and a holiday party that will leave little fingers snapping and toes tapping. A schedule with the dates, times, location, and directions will be handed out. Space is limited so sign-ups are a must. “We will be doing the always popular and much needed “Mom’s Night Out” events as well,” says Wendy. Those with questions or wishing to pre-register should contact Wendy at 244-0535.
