Letter: Woman’s Club Volunteers

A heartfelt “thank you” to all of the members of the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club and to those who participated in the “Let’s Accessorize” Auction and the Club’s “Magical Mystery Home Tour.” Both events were a great success!

Thank you so much to Terri Ireland, Terry Cassietto, Rosi Del Nostro and the entire “Let’s Accessorize” Auction. It was so much fun.

A special thank you to Tammy Stone for chairing the “Magical Mystery Home Tour”event and for having her beautifully decorated home on the tour.  Also to all the homeowners who allowed us to view their beautiful homes. The decorations were spectacular!

Thank you to Bonnie Carnagey, Vicki Young and Karen Wallace for chairing the Christmas Tree opportunity drawing. Those who donated decorated trees also deserve accolades – they were gorgeous! Nyla Finch did a wonderful job coordinating the vendors and Maria Volkoff’s committee did a great job with the cookies.

Thank you to Lyne Hall for designing and Tammy Stone for printing the beautiful brochures for the home tour.

Sue Collins is appreciated for being in charge of hostesses and for setting up tablecloths, helping with cookies and many other details.

Another special thank you to Lyne Hall for the club’s “Mermaid of the Lake” entry in the Boat Parade. Lyne’s committee did a marvelous job and received  the 1st Place Spirit Award! I want to thank all who participated in the event.

The proceeds generated from all of the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club’s activities are donated to local families in need, philanthropic organizations, the military, and to scholarships for Canyon Lake students. So to all who donated and participated – both in the club and in the community – I thank you and wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year!
