Kayla Parker to star in ‘Les Miserables’ at Pechanga


Canyon Laker Kayla Parker is starring as Eponine in the musical, “Les Miserables,” at the Pechanga Resort Casino Theater in Temecula on Friday, January 23, at 8 p.m., and Saturday, January 24, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. (Tickets can be purchased at pechanga.com.)

The production will be at the Alex Theater, 216 N. Brand Blvd, in Glendale, on Friday, January 30, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, January 31, at 8 p.m.

Finally, they will be at the California Center for the Arts Escondido, 340 N. Escondido Blvd, in Escondido on Saturday, February 7, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, February 8, at 2 p.m.

Kayla moved to Canyon Lake with her family at the age of 2. She has performed in numerous productions with Canyon Lake Community Theatre and was a member of the Royal Court in 2002.

Kayla went to Temescal Canyon High School where she appeared in productions with the Spotlight Players. She also has been involved in many Old Town Temecula Theater productions.

After graduating from TCHS, Kayla attended UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television to train in the Ray Bolger Musical Theatre Program.
