Election results: Eilers and Middle elected, motorcycle measure fails

The CLPOA Annual Meeting was held Thursday, May 17, after the publication deadline of The Friday Flyer. The election results were announced Thursday afternoon by Inspector of Election Danielle Hallman. Looking Back: Remembering May of past years in Canyon Lake

Take a quick walk through Canyon Lake history. 40 Years Ago In May 1972, one could still store a boat for $8 a month at Martin’s Landing, with boat and house trailer rental space at only $14 per month. Helpers provided a special day for special needs kids

Special needs children had a special day of food, fun, entertainment and games, thanks to the efforts of the Jr. Women's Club and many helpers. The public hearing for a proposed CLPOA Department of Public Safety has been changed to Thursday, May 24, at 6 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room, according to General Manager Jon Sabo.
