Rick Derringer will be live in concert at the Canyon Lake Lodge on Nov. 4. Concert-goers can look forward to an up-close performance and a Meet and Greet with the artist.

Field of Honor veteran flag deadline is Nov. 1
Volunteers will be placing 200 hon- or flags around the Veterans Memorial Park in the Towne Center on Nov. 4. Those who wish to honor a veteran with a flag can do so by making a $10 donation by Wednesday, Nov. 1. Each flag will bear a yellow ribbon with the name of the honoree on it.
To reserve a flag, submit $10 along with name, mailing address, email ad- dress and the name of the person be-
ing honored to: City of Canyon Lake, 31516 Railroad Canyon Rd., Canyon Lake, Ca 92587. Flags may also be purchased at Pack, Wrap & Post in the Towne Center.
The flags will remain at the park until after Veterans Day. Residents can pick their flags up at the park anytime between Nov. 12 and Nov. 18. Flags not picked up by noon on Nov. 18 will be removed.

In addition to his solo career, the artist wrote a number of commercial jingles, including a notable one for Budweiser. Opening the show for Rick will be One Guy & A Chick, featuring Canyon Lake residents Aprile DeAnne and Steve Adler. Aprile was the opening act for Berlin when they played at the lodge in June. She was so well received that the concert producer said he felt obligated to bring her back as her well-known duo. Their song list for the upcoming
concert will include an eclectic mix of recognizable hits. “These are hits every- one will know,” said Aprile. “We hope the audience will sing along with us and have a great time.”
The Rick Derringer concert will be the eleventh concert in the series since it’s inception in 2015. Johnny Lee, Da- vid Cook, Hal Ketchum, Collin Raye, Suzy Bogguss, Darryl Worley, John An- derson, Berlin and Ty Herndon have all performed at the POA’s “Concerts at the Lodge.” Doug Schultz, the producer of the POA’s concerts, said he will be an- nouncing the schedule and artist line up for “Concerts at the Lodge” 2018 at the Rick Derringer Concert.
POA to hold class on dwellingLive guest call-in service
The POA is holding a dwellingLIVE class on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the senior center for members who would like to learn more about the guest call-in service used by residents. dwellingLIVE is an advanced visitor management system solution for gated communities such as Canyon Lake.
In this one-hour class members will learn the basics of setting up their ac- count, calling in guests, managing guest lists and the use of the mobile app. Mem- bers will be walked through the website set-up and taught how to call in guests.
The class is limited to 10 members. To sign up, call 951-244-6841, ext. 310. Here are some helpful tips to remem- ber when using the online guest call-in
service.
Registering For Online Guest Call- ins
In addition to over the phone guest call-ins, members of the community have the option to call-in their guests online. To register for this service, fol- low the guidelines below:
Go to the POA website at canyon-
lakepoa.com and click “Guest Call-in” under the “Members Services.” Click on the “Register” link and complete the re- quested fields.
Allow two to three business days for staff in the POA Member Services de- partment to verify the information and process the request. Once processed, you will receive a welcome email from DwellingLIVE with a link to their web- site, community.dwellinglive.com.
Reasons To Register For Online Guest Call-ins
DwellingLIVE brings added func- tionality and flexibility to its members. Here are five reasons to register for on- line guest call-ins.
