The Canyon Lake Jr. Wom- en's Club invites the community to Rocktober- fest 2017 on Oct. 21 from 1 to 5 p.m.
at Holiday Harbor Park. The event will highlight local craft brewer- ies, live music and vendors.

The 3rd annual Rocktoberfest, hosted by the Can- yon Lake Junior Women’s Club (JWC) is set for Satur- day, Oct. 21 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Holiday Harbor Park, 22180 Village Way Dr.
Rocktoberfest 2017 will feature beer tastings from local microbreweries, vendors, live music featuring Moon Shot, food from The Urban and raffles.
Beer tasting stamp cards cost $20 for 10 tastings.
Tastings are for those 21 years old and over; ID and wristband will be required.
Proceeds from this fundraising event will help to support the community beautification and philanthropy projects that JWC has planned for the year. For event information, contact Alissa at 951-265-4325.

The lodge grounds will be the site of the 12th annual Canyon Lake Car Show on Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Car Show is sponsored by the Canyon Lake Car Club and considered the second largest annual event in Canyon Lake.
The free event will feature approxi- mately 300 pre-1977 classic and custom cars and trucks, more than 20 vendor booths, awards, music by High Energy Sounds and a 50/50 opportunity draw- ing. The lodge will be open for lunch and breakfast. The outside bars will be offering Car Show drink specials.
A Car Cruise around the lake (route to be determined) will take place following the awards presentation, between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Residents are invited to line the streets along the cruise route and cheer on the cars as they drive by.
A post Car Show Dinner Dance with a Sock Hop theme will take place at 6 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room. Tickets are $25 and includes appetizers, dinner, dessert and live entertainment. Pre-paid tickets are required. For tickets, contact chuckcasey@gmail.com. A few tick-

Owners of pre-1977 cars and trucks are invited to participate in the Car Show. Registration is $25 and includes T-shirt, reusable goodie bag and mag- netic dash plaque. Early registration is recommended. More than 25 trophies will be presented. Cars will be judged by peers, industry professionals, POA staff and City staff. The Car Show registra- tion form can be downloaded at canyon- lakecarclub.com.
All proceeds from the Car Show are returned to the community through do- nations to resident needs, scholarships to local high schools, other Canyon lake clubs and committees, community park improvements, Canyon Lake fire station, Canyon Lake Emergency Pre- paredness Committee, Veterans Com- mittee and veteran charities, to name a few.
