Community invited to Poker Run fundraiser
The Street Carts of Canyon Lake Golf Cart Club invites residents to deck their golf carts in red, white and blue and join the fun at its community Poker Run fun- draiser tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants do not have to be a member of the club to participate.
The cost is $10 per hand or four hands for $30. Players may purchase unlimit- ed extra hands. Prizes will be awarded to the players with the top three poker hands.
The Poker Run fun begins at Sierra Park where the rules will be explained and players pick up their first poker card.
From Sierra Park, players will travel to the lodge, Diamond Point Park, Holi- day Harbor and Roadrunner Park to pick up a poker card at each location. Players will then head back to Sierra Park where the winners will be determined and priz- es awarded.
The funds raised from the Poker Run will go towards the Street Cart’s philan- thropic donations.

The Street Carts of Canyon Lake is a golf cart club that holds community events to raise funds for its charitable
work. The club hosts the annual Golf Cart Parade and the community Poker Run. Lifetime club membership is $25.
