Swim, water polo lessons begin at pool June 12
The pool offers seven weeks of swim lessons, seven weeks of water polo lessons and two Mommy and Me sessions. Signups are taken at the pool office. Pool Manger Val Grillo advises parents to sign up early as spaces are limited.

Volleyball Clinic
A volleyball summer skills clinic will be held June 5 through June 8 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the big gym at Temescal Canyon High School, 28755 El Toro Rd., Lake Elsinore. The clinic is for boys and girls 10 years of age and older who want to learn to play volleyball, sharpen their volleyball skills or improve techniques to prepare for girls freshman volleyball tryouts.
The cost is a $60 donation fee to support TCHS volleyball booster program. Registration includes clinic and T-shirt. Pre-registration by May 22 is recommended to ensure shirt size availability. To register, call Michelle Olszewski at 951-623-7546 or email mxriverfamily@gamil.com.
Student Scholarships
The Canyon Lake Chapter WW of P.E.O. is offering a $500 college scholarship to senior high school girls or women currently enrolled in college. Deadline is June 1.

Basketball Camp
An Itty Bitty Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages three to five will be
child, is $40. Third week is free. Only one free week per household. Additional weeks are $40 per week.

Tot Swim: Face in the water, introduction to floating
Level 1: Kicking and safety rules
Level 2: Hold breath for three seconds, introduction to retrieving objects and turning front to back

Level 4: Elementary backstroke,

Level 5: Breaststroke, butterfly kick,
and alternate breathing
Level 6: Front crawl (100 yards), and

back crawl (100 yards), and rescue skills Water polo begins June 12 and runs for seven weeks. All ages are accepted; however, participant must be able to swim the full 25 yard length of the pool.
The class meets Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $50 per week. Buy two weeks get the third week free. Only one free week per household. Additional weeks are $40 per week.
Mommy and Me sessions are offered the weeks of July 10 through July 14 and July 24 through July 28. The cost is $35 per week. Adult swim lessons are available upon request. For more information, call the pool office at 951- 244-6841, ext. 617.
Needlework Group
Residents are invited to bring their knitting and crocheting supplies and projects to the senior center on Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon.

Sewing, Quilting Group
Residents are invited to the senior center for sewing and quilting on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring a project and sewing machine, or just visit and check it out.

Bingo
Bingo is held at the Canyon Lake Senior Center on the first and third Sunday of every month from 1 to 4 p.m. Due to State Law, Bingo is limited to those over the age of 18. Admission is $10 for a six-sheet set; special games are available for $1 each.

MOMS Next
MOMS Next is an open group, accepting place for all mothers of school age kids to come, just as they are, to experience authentic community, personal, growth, practical help and spiritual hope.

TCHS Fundraisers
The Temescal Canyon High School football team is selling Krispy Kreme certificates. Each certificate is good for a dozen donuts at any Krispy Kreme location. They can be purchased from any Titan football player or by contacting tchsfootball@gmail.com.

Caregivers Connection
The Canyon Lake Community Church’s Caregivers Connection offers an opportunity for caregivers to share common problems, needs and experiences. Anyone caring for a loved one for illnesses such as dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, heart issues or Parkinson's is welcome to attend.
The group meets in room 6 at the church on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is a program that teaches and gives one tools on how to address their hurts, habits, and hang-ups so that they can move forward and find their purpose and a life filled with joy.
Participants discover that they are not alone in what they are going through and find people to walk alongside them. Celebrate Recovery meets on Sundays at 6 p.m. in Building C at Canyon Lake Community Church.
Genealogy Research
The Lake Elsinore Genealogical Society (LEGS) meets monthly on the second Thursday (except for July and August) from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mission Trail Community Library, 34303 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Visitors and guests are welcome.

Coffee with Nancy
Residents are invited to meet with Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District Division 1 Director Nancy Horton, a Canyon Lake resident, the last Tuesday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Sports Stop. The coffee is complimentary.
Nancy is available to talk about changing guidelines for water conservation, answer questions about conservation rebates and the district’s water rates, etc. Residents are invited to bring their water bill for clarification of costs.
