Canyon Lake resident and cheer cap- tain Emma Lewis took first place in her solo and also won the Cheer Solo di- vision. Emma, Daysia Kee and Jaylin Gordon placed first in the Cheer Trio category.
The team also walked away with sev- eral awards in the specialty categories. “We entered three stunt groups into the competition and they placed first, sec-

In the Tumbling category, Canyon Laker Ryn Andersen placed first, Can- yon Laker Rebe Andersen placed second and Kaley Pelton placed third. Kaley also placed first in the Jumps category.
The team’s crowd-leading routines earned first, but Tammy said the high- light of the competition was the team winning first in the Medium Jr. Cheer divisions and then taking the title of the overall Jr. Cheer Champions out of sev- en teams.

Because of some printing errors in the Canyon Lake Property Owner Association’s 2017 Spring and Sum- mer Activity Guide that was includ- ed in last week’s Friday Flyer, it has been reprinted and is inserted into this week’s newspaper. Please dis- card the one you received last week
and replace it with this new revised one.
The quality of the publication is improved this week and the issue with the fonts bleeding together has been resolved. This useful Activity Guide is intended to be retained and used through September of this year.
