The pool reopens today, March 10. Lap Swim is Monday through Sunday from 7 to 10 a.m. Open Swim is Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Water Aerobics begins March 11 and is offered Monday through Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Beginning May 29, there will be two morning classes at 8 and 9 a.m. Monday through Friday along with a class at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
During summer hours, Water Aero- bics will be offered in the evening at 7 p.m. on Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Water Aerobics costs $2 per class or $25 per month for unlimited classes.
Registration for swimming lessons begin April 1.
A valid POA card is required to en- ter the pool. Members must be in “good standing” to utilize the pool. Members must accompany and stay with their guests. Pool use is limited to six guests per tract/lot.
Members are reminded that there are no life guards on duty. Inexperienced
swimmers must be accompanied by a responsible person who is sufficient maturity, size and swimming ability to assist the person in the event of distress or emergency. Swimmers who cannot swim 25 yards unaided must be accom- panied by an experienced swimmer.
Children under five yeas of age are required to be under the direct supervi- sion of a responsible person at all times. Toddlers/babies are not allowed to wan- der around the deck or sit on the edge of the pool unless accompanied by an adult.
Persons under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. Persons 14 to 17 years of age and unaccompanied by an adult are re- quired to have their own valid POA card and are allowed to bring one guest to the pool.
Proper swim wear is required. No cut offs allowed.

City-wide cleanup event planned for April 1
The City of Canyon Lake and CR&R are hosting a city-wide cleanup event on Saturday, April 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Canyon Lake Community Church, 30515 Railroad Canyon Rd. At the same time, Animal Friends of the Valley will be accepting donations of bleach, cat and dog food (Pedigree
and Iams), towels and pet beds.
The following items will be ac- cepted at no charge: normal household trash, tree trimming (bundled in 4’ lengths), couches, tables, appliances, ovens an stoves, microwaves, mat- tresses, concrete, asphalt, sod, lum- ber (cut and bundled), some batteries,
computers and monitors, televisions and household electronic devices.
The following items will not be accepted: latex and oil-based paint, paint-related products, flammable liquids, fuels, compressed gas cylin- ders, household cleaners, drain open- ers, oven cleaners, poisons, pesticides,
herbicides, fungicides, waste oil, anti- freezes, car batteries, lead-acid batter- ies, mercury thermostats, automotive cleaners, all other household and com- mercial hazardous waste and lamps (fluorescent light bulbs).
