The Jamail family invites residents to visit their 2nd annual Haunted House on Monday, October 31, from dusk to 8:30 p.m.
The Orth, Smiley, Jamail, and Hall families invite residents to stop by for a look at their spooktacular homes.
Brandon and Kelly Orth’s home at 30148 Skipjack Dr. has lights synchro- nized to music and video showcasing “A Nightmare Before Christmas.” The show consists of five songs. During the week, residents can see the show between 7:45 and 10:15 p.m. On the weekend it runs from sunset to 11 p.m. Anyone stopping by to watch the show should bring a FM radio. No radio is needed on Halloween. Trick-or-treaters on Halloween will be delighted to a special one night only show that will feature story telling by a witch brewing spells, jack-o-lanterns telling a scary Halloween story and an extended
show of seven songs.
The Smiley family invites Canyon Lake residents to trick-or-treat and tour the haunted house on Saturday, October 29, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Their address is 30639 Champion Dr.
The Jamail family invites residents to visit their 2nd annual Haunted House on Monday, October 31, from dusk to 8:30 p.m. Shannon Jamail says, “This isn’t for the faint of heart. The little ones can skip the scares and enjoy treats only. We will have lots of treats and food.” Their address is 22252 Whirlaway Ct.
Lyne Hall invites residents to view her spooky graveyard and trick-or-treat at her home on Halloween from 7 to 9 p.m. Her address is 31393 Emperor Dr.
Tickets on sale for ‘True Willie’ and ‘Plaid Tidings’
"True Willie" will be performing at the Lodge on Saturday, November 12.
The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild presents “True Willie,” a Willie Nelson Tribute Concert, and “The Plaid Tiding Christmas Special.”
“True Willie,” said to be “the most authentic Willie Nelson Tribute Band in America,” will be performing at the Lodge on Saturday, November 12, fom 7 to 9 p.m. Critics say Roger Hegyi looks and sounds so much like the legendary country singer, they could have been twins separated at birth.
The evening will include music from Willie’s iconic song book, including “On the Road Again,” “Always on My Mind” and “Mammas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up to be Cowboys.”
“The Plaid Tidings Christmas Show” is set for December 16. “Plaid Tidings” is the holiday version of the long run- ning musical comedy “Forever Plaid.” This nostalgic music and comedy act by
four witty performers and a live combo band is designed to lift the audience’s spirits and fill them with holiday cheer.
For more than 20 years, The Plaids have been one of the most popular groups in theater. This show was de- veloped and produced for family enjoy- ment, so children are encouraged to at- tend at reduced cost.
For both upcoming shows, VIP tick- ets with reserved seating are $45. Gen- eral Admission (and Benefactor) tickets are $25. For “Plaid Tidings,” tickets are just $10 for children 16 and under. Tickets are available online at brownpa- pertickets.com, 800-838-3006, or at the POA Office ($25 tickets only).
For more than 15 years, the Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild has been commit- ted to bringing quality musical enter- tainment to the community at a reason- able price.
