George Middle may be known to most Canyon Lakers as the gentleman with the English accent who often addresses the POA Board at Board meetings. Many may remember when he served a term on the POA Board from 2012 to 2014, one of those years as Secretary.
George filled the bill as Alfred Doo- little in Canyon Lake Community The- atre’s production of “My Fair Lady,” along with lending his English ac- cent to renditions of “What a Wonder- ful World,” “The night of a Thousand Stars,” “Get Me to the Church on Time” and more at CLCT benefactor concerts. He also serves on the CLCT board of di- rectors.
George also sings with the Choraleers and serves as treasurer of that group’s board of directors.
He is past president and current mem- bership director of the Canyon Lake Li- ons Club. He’s a longstanding member of the Men’s Golf Club, a member of CLAMS, and past president of the Ten- nis Club. And George says he recently joined the new Canyon Lake Toast- masters Club in the hope of learning to “speak proper.”
It’s a tough way to volunteer, but he also shoots pool in a league with other Canyon Lake sharpshooters.
George is past past VP of the Menifee Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce.
George Middle has changed his look since serving on the POA Board of Direc- tors in 2012-14.
Outside of Canyon Lake, he is past present and current director of the In- land Valley Mental Health Board. He is soon to be a commissioner and serve on the Riverside County Behavioral Health Board.
George says he is first and foremost a family man. He and his wife Joan have

Lake who is suffering from an illness or other situation that requires assistance, Sosy is the first to offer help. She regu- larly participates in meal trains and fun- draisers.
“Sosy hosts her own healthy cooking classes out of her home for both children and adults. She is also a member of the Lioness Club (another philanthropic or- ganization).
“Sosy is married to AJ and has three
children. . . . Her son, Gideon, 5, was diagnosed last year with leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment. Even with everything on Sosy’s plate, she is now going to write a book for children undergoing treatment for leukemia. This book will then be donated to local hospi- tals for all the children.
“The list goes on and on of all the wonderful things Sosy does . . . Our community is made a much, much better place because of Sosy and all her hard work and dedication.”
