Save the date for next week’s Spring Concert
Next Saturday, May 9, Canyon Lakers are invited to bring Mom and other guests to enjoy an afternoon of nostalgic melo- dies presented by the Canyon Lake Cho- raleers. With the theme, “Thanks for the Memories,” the concert is scheduled to
begin at 3 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge.
Tickets are $8 per person; children under 12 are free. According to spokes- person Sher Adamson, the event will in- clude “door prizes galore.”
The 30 to 40 members of this vocal group meet weekly throughout the year to practice for their spring and winter concerts and for other special events like Veterans Day. They are led by Robbin Bouslog and accompanied on the piano
by Lynda Salina.

National Day of Prayer is open to all on May 7
Residents are invited to pray for their community, state and nation as Canyon Lake celebrates its third annual National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, at 10 a.m. at the Lodge. A continental breakfast will be served. This year’s program will be emceed by Lane McKellar. Speakers will include Pastor Kasey Crawford of El-
evation Church and Pastors Chris Suitt and Paul Krueger of New Hope Community Church and Hope Learning Academy. Music will be provided by Crimson Crown Music Ministries and Elevation Church. Tickets will be $12 at the door. National Day of Prayer is celebrated nation-wide on the first Thursday in May.
