Ken Peterson caught his biggest crappie to date on Jan. 8 while fishing from the dock at the lodge. “This was the biggest crappie I ever caught in this lake or any lake,” said Ken. “I was just down to check on my boat and decided to fish for a bit before it got dark. I’m guessing it weighed a few pounds but I didn’t have a scale to confirm.” Ken said he used a Rapala F5 shad for bait.

After a quick selfie with his big catch, Ken released the fish back into the lake.
