Missing Persons to perform at lodge Feb. 9

The first 2019 concert in the POA’s “Concerts at the Lodge” series will be held on Feb. 9 at the lodge and feature new wave band Missing Persons, featuring lead singer and co-founder Dale Bozzio and Prescott Niles, who is best known as the bassist for The Knack.

VIP tickets are $54. General Admission tickets are $29. Tickets are available at the POA office and on the POA website at canyonlakepoa.com.

Missing Persons rose to stardom in the early 80s and became a must-see band among the Los Angeles live music crowd. The band is known for their singles “Mental Hopscotch,” “Surrender Your Heart,” “Words” and “Walking in L.A.”

On Oct. 2, Missing Persons celebrated the 36th anniversary of the release of their first full-length album, “Spring Session M.” The album peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The opening act for this show will be Makayla Phillips, the Canyon Lake resident won the golden buzzer on America’s Got Talent, Season 13.
