Chamber announces Community Award winners

One of the ways the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce serves the community of Canyon Lake is by providing an opportunity to recognize leading citizens, groups and businesses with annual awards. A committee of chamber members choose the recipients from the nominations submitted by the community and presents them with recognition awards at the chamber’s annual Awards and Installation Gala.

The chamber announced this year’s recipients on Monday. They are as follows:

• Business of the Year: The Friday Flyer
• Organization of the Year: Fine Arts Guild
• Volunteer of the Year: Lynn Hall
• Citizen of the Year: Jordan Ehrenkranz
• Youth of the Year: Ryan Hosking

The Friday Flyer will feature each of the honorees in next week’s issue.
The chamber’s annual Awards and Installation Gala will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 6 p.m. at the lodge. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $50 and include dinner. Reservations are due by Jan. 15. Seating is limited.
