Women’s Golf Club Tournament donations benefit foster children

Members of the Women’s Golf Club and Golf Pro Pat Kemball collected more than 100 toys during its annual Christmas Tournament on Dec. 11. The toys were donated to the  Mattress Firm Foster Children Program, a recognized 501 non-profit that serves 2,500 foster children in the Temecula Valley. The winners of the tournament were announced in a previous issue of The Friday Flyer.

The Women’s Golf Club will host its 2019 Valentine’s Tournament on Feb. 12 at 8 a.m. The format will be a Four Person Scramble. Registration is $40. The Women’s Golf Club is a member of the Southern California Golf Association. The club meets on Tuesdays in the Magnolia Room at the country club between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. to tee off at 8 a.m. for 18 holes of golf. The club’s mission is promoted through camaraderie, social events, recognition and tournaments throughout the year.

The club strives to be a source of pride and enjoyment for all members. Other women in the community are invited to participate in all the club has to offer.
