Home Decorating Contest winners announced

The homes that were entered into this year’s holiday Home Decorating Contest were judged on Sunday by Home Owners Club President LaRue McNamara and her trusty elves. The winners are as follows:

Best Overall: Jim Downey, 30213 Gulf Stream Dr.

Best Street: Mustang Ct.

Most Illuminated: Tom Cascario, 30080 Cross Hill Dr.

Most Colorful: Kelly and Brandon Orth, 30148 Skipjack Dr.

Most Colorful: Diana and Brandon Karpowitz, 29520 Longhorn Dr.

Most Traditional: Cheryl and Jeremy Kite, 29805 Santa Maria Dr.

Most Whimsical: Angie and Michael Bazaldua, 22970 Canyon Lake Dr. S.

Most Whimsical: Patty and Jim Etherton, 23539 Canyon Lake Dr. N.

Most Religious: Ted Lehman, 30408 Bear River Dr.

Most Animated/Musical: Jeannie and Mike Shroyer, 22055 Mustang Ct.

Only the street-front decorations of the homes entered were judged. The winners will receive a doorbell plaque.
