The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild is gearing up for its 2019 concerts. They include four tribute concerts at the lodge and two free summer concerts at the new amphitheater at Holiday Harbor Park, which is expected to be completed in January.
General Admission tickets cost $25. VIP tickets cost $45. Tickets are on sale now for all 2019 concerts and can be purchased at the POA office and from the Guild’s website at canyonlakeguild.org.
Shawn Gerhard will perform as Garth Brooks on Mar. 16 at the lodge. For more than a decade, Shawn has delivered an authentic, polished Garth look, sound and feel in venues across the U.S. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Shawn has that charismatic personality and a passion for country music and especially for Garth music.
On May 17, Matt Mauser will perform at the lodge as Frank Sinatra. Matt has been entertaining audiences since the late 90s. He strives to mesmerize audiences by recreating the subtleties of Sinatra’s smooth voice.
The Guild will kick off summer by hosting two free concerts for the community at Holiday Harbor Park. On June 29, the community will be treated to a Jimmy Buffett concert performed by the Coastriders. On Aug. 10, Jumping Jack Flash returns to Canyon Lake to perform some of the greatest hits by The Rolling Stones. Those who attended the Beatles vs Stones concert host by the Guild a few years ago will remember the tremendous energy and enthusiasm of these performers.
On Sept. 7, “Listen to the Music” will bring the chart-busting hits of “The Doobie Brothers” to the Holiday Bay Room.
The 2019 season will wrap up on Oct. 19 at the lodge with the return of Jay White as Neil Diamond. Jay’s tribute to the American icon became the longest running act at Legends in Las Vegas.
Operating under their mission of “providing enjoyable music to the community and complementary programs that promote quality entertainment,” the Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild will once again be offering memberships that include preferred seating; discount pricing and pre-concert social events that include food, beer, wine, soft drinks and music.
