Batter up! It’s time to sign up for Little League

Canyon Lake Little League signups are underway for the 2019 season. Signups are available through Jan. 5 at clllca.com.

Canyon Lake and Canyon Hills residents ages four to 13 are eligible to play. Kids who do not reside within the boundaries but attend Cottonwood Elementary or Canyon Lake Middle School also are eligible to play.

Players must be league (four to 13) on or before Aug. 31, 2019. All players must provide a birth certificate, proof of residency and/or school enrollment form.

The season runs from February through May. All home games will be played at Gault Field in Canyon Lake.

Registration fees are as follows:

• T-Ball: $120
• A: $120
• AA: $120
• AAA: $130
• Majors – 50/70: $160.

A $25 late fee will apply for signups after Jan. 5. Registration deadline is Jan. 13.

A mandatory managers and coaches meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Canyon Lake Country Club.
