Ugly Sweater Party features games, contests

The country club hosted an Ugly Sweater Party last Friday evening that featured dinner and drink specials, contests, games, music and dancing. Local DJ Aprile DeAnne emceed the event, hosted the contest and games and provided the holiday tunes.

The winner of the Ugly Sweater Contest is Hugh Wagoner. Pam Krueger and Scott Ellis won Best Couple Combo. Most Likely to Go Viral on Social Media went to David Campbell. Harriet Wozniak won the award for Most Likely to Get Arrested if Seen in Public. Lyne and Mike Hall, along with son Dylan, daughter-in-law Heidi and granddaughter Leah, won Most Festive Family. “Three-year-old Leah stole the show singing Jingle Bells and having an amazing comedic instinct,” said Aprile.

Fifteen teams participated in the Reindeer Toss and 12 partygoers entertained the crowd with a funny rendition of 12 Days of Christmas. Other games included Candy Cane Ring Toss for kids and Cotton Ball Steal for adults.

The classic rock band Replay joined the party later that evening to play their version of classic rock hits.
