POA makes improvements in community

The POA continues to make improvements throughout the community and also has many projects planned for the future. Projects currently being worked on include installing a pedestrian gate and updating the signage at the east gate entrance, replacing the pool deck, adding additional cameras at points of sale/food service and throughout the community, researching solar consultants and providers, erosion remediation at the north causeway, building a block wall at Goetz Road, completing the Holiday Harbor amphitheater, adding tennis and pickleball sheds, replacing the country club signage, adding lighting to Roadrunner Park volleyball court, installing Internet/Wifi system at Happy Camp, installing restrooms at Roadrunner Park, creating a POA smartphone app, replacing mailboxes throughout the community, remodeling front gatehouses, adding in pump truck and repaving all parking lots.

Projects the POA has planned for the future include enlarging the balcony at the lodge, adding motorcycle parking shade and security, adding a pool building addition, adding a dock at Indian Beach, installing shade structures at Indian Beach and Sierra Park, improving access to north ski docks, refurbishing main launch ramp, purchasing Holiday Harbor snack bar kitchen equipment for event usage per county requirements, restoring lake lighthouse foundation, remodeling areas of the POA office, purchasing an additional Marine Patrol boat and installing a propane fire pit at Happy Camp.

The POA has completed numerous projects since 2017. They include remodeling Happy Camp, adding 350 tons of fine beach sand to all beaches, painting the Holiday Bay Room, renovating the country club, restocking the lake with fish, purchasing two speed enforcement trailers, adding a patio cover to the patio off the Holiday Bay Room, improving landscape at lodge, resurfacing basketball and tennis courts, replacing the dishwasher at the lodge, adding shade structures, trees and lighting to dog park, refurbishing lake lighthouse, adding RFID access to the north gate, painting Holiday Harbor Park and East Port Park restrooms, replacing pool shade structures, unveiling a new POA website and purchasing a third Marine Patrol boat.
