Jr. Women’s Club hosts special holiday meeting

The Jr. Women’s Club held a special holiday meeting on Dec. 14 at the home of Kasey Castillo. More than 30 members attended the meeting featuring guest speaker Becky Cogsley of the American Red Cross. The women enjoyed a holiday potluck and gift exchange after the meeting.

The next monthly meeting will be held on Jan. 3. The club’s next event will be a Blood Drive and Wellness Fair on Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the lodge. Vendor booths are available for $35 plus a donation of a raffle item. To reserve a booth, contact Julie Aguirre at 951-265-9722.

The Jr. Women’s Club is a non-profit philanthropic club that holds fundraising events throughout the year to help fund scholarship programs, help local families in need and donate to park improvements in Canyon Lake.
