Sign up for holiday Home Decorating Contest

Those who have taken the time and effort to decorate their homes for the holidays have a chance to be recognized for their efforts in the Home Owners Club holiday Home Decorating Contest. The Canyon Lake Home Owners Club invites residents to turn on their street-front decorations on Sunday evening, Dec. 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. as Home Owners Club President LaRue McNamara and her trusty elves cruise the streets to judge the homes. Only those who have submitted their information to LaRue will have their homes judged. Only street-front decorations will be judged.

This year’s categories are Best Overall, Traditional, Religious, Most Illuminated, Most Whimsical and Humorous.

To enter the contest, submit your name, address and the category you wish to enter to LaRue at yankee441@verizon.net on or before Dec. 15. The winners will receive a doorbell plaque.
