Choraleers seeking sponsors for holiday concert

The Canyon Lake Choraleers are seeking sponsors for their upcoming holiday concert, “Let it Snow,” on Friday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge.

Sponsorship ads in the concert program are available. Some sponsorships include concert tickets. Sponsorships range from $75 to $250. The deadline is Dec. 1. For more information, contact President Larry Garland at canyonlakechoraleers@gmail.com.

Concert tickets are available now at brownpapertickets.com, the POA office and from any Choraleers member. VIP seats in up-front rows cost $20. General Admission tickets cost $15.

Director Lorliee Bajema has selected traditional sacred and secular Christmas music for the concert. In addition to Canyon Lake’s resident pianist, Lynda Salina, the Choraleers will be accompanied by special instruments that include a harp, violin and drums. A raffle that includes a cash prize will be held during intermission.

The Choraleers is a vocal group of men and women who enjoy singing in a choral group that performs spring and fall concerts, including combinations of selected singers and solo performances. Membership includes more than 35 members as well as a director and pianist. Membership is open to residents and individuals in nearby communities.
