Letter: Lake Cleanup

I am disappointed with the rhetoric concerning water quality in Canyon Lake. There are political interests that claim they have the answer to cleaning up our most valuable asset. Our residents have seen dredging, alum treatments and in the early days even copper sulfate applications; however, these are not long-term solutions.

I have researched a company that has a proven track record in lake cleanup and can reduce sediment by up to one foot per year without dredging.
