Voter registration deadline is Monday

The deadline to register or re-register to vote is Monday, Oct. 22. Residents only need to re-register to vote if they’ve moved, changed their name, would like to switch political parties, or haven’t voted in the past four years.

Registration can be done online on the California Secretary of State website at sos.ca.gov/elections. The website includes links to the official Voter Guide, election site map, online registration and other related information.

To register online, you will need your California driver’s license or California identification card number, last four digits of your social security number and date of birth.

Mail-in registration forms are available at the Canyon Lake Library.

You must be 18 years old or older on Election Day to be eligible to vote.

Official final election results can be found at the County of Riverside Registrar of Voters at voteinfo.net.
