The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce invites the community to its 26th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 27. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in front of City Hall in the Towne Center.

The Parade of Frights features costumed children trick-or-treating at more than 50 Towne Center businesses using the chamber’s “Treasure Map.” Participating businesses will stamp the map and hand out treats. Completed maps are entered into a prize drawing.

Other activities include carnival games, costume contests with prizes, bounce house, costume parade led by Thunder of Storm Stadium and music by Mike Shroyer of Good Time Entertainment.

Children ages one to 13 are invited to enter the costume contest. Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume in the following age groups: one and younger, two to five, six to nine and 10 to 13.

The chamber is seeking sponsors for this event. Sponsorship is $150. If you choose to be an event sponsor, your map spot is free. As sponsor, your name will be announced during the event and appear in local newspapers, on multiple social media sites and on signage during the event.
