Public invited to participate in Scholarship Tournament

The Canyon Lake 9ers Women’s Golf Club invites the public to participate in its 4th annual Scholarship Tournament on Thursday, Oct. 4. This year’s play is 18 holes of fun – each a three par hole. Participants can sign up for scramble or stroke play.

The entry fee is $40 and includes lunch. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. Tee time is 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for different flights, as well as for a putting contest. Raffle prizes include a bicycle and high-end wines. Among the silent auction items are a week in Hawaii and a stay and play at Temecula Creek Inn.

All proceeds go toward a scholarship for a Canyon Lake graduate who will be attending college in the fall of 2019. The scholarship will be awarded in the spring of 2019.

“This is an outstanding opportunity to have a fun day at our beautiful golf course here in Canyon Lake and provide financial assistance to a deserving student who plans to attend college,” said Chairperson Teresa Roberson.
