The Canyon Lake Travel Club hosted its annual dinner dance on Friday evening at the lodge. More than 85 guests attended the luau-themed event that featured dinner catered by the Lighthouse Restaurant and music by One Guy and a Chick.
The Travel Club is open to all adult members of the community. Annual membership is $10 per person. Membership is not a requirement to participate in the club’s events; however, members receive discounted prices on most trips. For membership information, contact Jan May at 951-244-1938.
Take “The Great West Coast Train Journey” with the Travel Club Mar. 20 through Mar. 26, 2019. Highlights include 350 miles of coastal views by train, a night at Madonna Inn, two nights at Hotel Five and more. A special dinner is included. Travel by motor coach and stay at Harrah’s in Laughlin Oct. 21 through Oct. 24. This trip includes a dinner cruise on the Colorado River and a free optional trip to the Grand Canyon on motor coach or by train for an extra charge. Visit the winter wonderland of decorated holiday trees and tour the Pompeii Exhibition at the Reagan Library on Nov. 26. This trip includes travel by motor coach and a special buffet lunch. Motor coach departs from the lodge at 8:00 a.m. and returns at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $93.00 per member and $98.00 per non-member.
