FMC invites kids to make pumpkin crafts

The Canyon Lake Family Matters Club is holding its next free Craft and Snack Day on Monday, Sept. 10, in the Sunset Beach Room at the lodge. The kids will be making pumpkin crafts. This one hour class starts at 11 a.m. The craft for the Oct. 8 class will be Halloween masks. For more information, contact Wendy Duran at 760-888-7512 or email clfmclub@aol.com.

The club is also selling Shop for Your Cause tickets. This annual event supporting local non-profit organizations will be held on Nov. 3 at the Lake Elsinore Outlets. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Event hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include a catered lunch, shopping discounts, entertainment, beer and wine samplings, entry into a $500 shopping spree, casino room, paper station and more.
