The Canyon Lake Association of Past Presidents, an organization composed of past presidents of the Canyon Lake Men’s Golf Club, recently presented the major donors of its annual Beautification Tournament with appreciation plaques. This year’s donors are the Men’s Golf Club, Women’s Golf Club, Margaret McCoy of Coldwell Banker, Todd Theodora and the POA.

In the past 10 years alone, the Beautification Tournament has raised nearly $70,000 with 100 percent of the proceeds spent on improvements on the golf course. Some of the more recent projects include a new street clock at the putting green, bronze plaques mounted on the tee box boulders and 13 new benches, to name a few.

The CLAPPS would like to hear from anyone who might have a good idea for its next golf course project. To submit an idea or sugg52estion, email CLAPPS President Jim Magill at jamesmagill1926@gmail.com.
