Canyon Lake 9ers Golf Club embarks on Big Bear Trip

Ladies of the Canyon Lake 9ers Golf Club embarked on their annual mid-week trip to the local mountain town of Big Bear in August. The group arrived on Wednesday and spent the day shopping and enjoying an outdoor lunch in the cool mountain air. The cabin for the evening provided stunning views of the ski slopes and pine trees.

The following day, the group played on Big Bear’s 9-hole golf course. As frequently happens in the mountains in the summer, a light rain and thunder provided more excitement. The course had to close but the ladies enjoyed a wonderful lunch at a local Mexican restaurant before heading back to the Canyon Lake heat.

The 9ers Golf Club is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association. Ladies who are interested in playing golf and making new friends are invited to play; all levels of golfers are welcome.
