Titans Dance Clinic

National award-winning Titan dance team is hosting a Dance Clinic for kids ages four to 13 on Sunday, Aug. 26 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Temescal Canyon High School small gym, 28755 El Toro Rd., Lake Elsinore. Registration is $30 and includes a T-shirt, snack, water and varsity football game performance on Friday, Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Registration can be done in person on the day of the clinic or online at squareup.com/store/tchsdanceteam.

Jefferson Starship Concert

Tonight, Aug. 17, Hospice of the Valleys is hosting a Jefferson Starship concert at 6 p.m. at Wiens Winery, 35055 Via Del Ponte, Temecula, to benefit its patients. Tickets are $95 each. VIP tickets are $380 for a table of four and $950 for a table of 10. VIP tickets include up-close seating, personal server and access to a private wine bar.

Kitten Yoga

Join Michelle Rotell of Sweat Cardio & Yoga and Animal Friends of the Valleys for a morning of zen and kittens at Kitten Yoga on Aug. 25 from 8 to 10 a.m. Practice your poses and say hello to AFV’s adoptable kittens with an hour-long yoga session and an extra hour of kitty playtime. You never know, you might meet your newest furry family member.

Wine and Chocolate

Hospice of the Valleys invites the public to its 22nd annual Wine and Chocolate fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 5 to 10 p.m. at Fazeli Cellars Winery at 37320 De Portola Rd. in Temecula.

The evening’s theme is Summer and Tuscany and the event will feature a seated dinner, live and silent auctions, Italian inspired appetizers and beer, wine and dessert tastings, Tickets are $95 each; guests will be seated eight to a table. For tickets, visit hospiceofthevalleys.com.

Wines for Canines and Kitties

Join Animal Friends of the Valleys for an upscale evening of wine, entertainment and furry friends at Wilson Creek Winery on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 6 p.m. This event will feature a champagne reception, gourmet dinner, a doggy fashion show, live and silent auctions and live entertainment.

Proceeds from the event will go to Animal Friends of the Valleys to support their mission of caring for the lost and homeless animals in the valleys. For tickets and additional information, visit wines2018.eventbrite.com.

Day for Kids

The Boys and Girls Club of Menifee Valley is hosting Day for Kids Family Night on Sept. 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults; children are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Paws on the Promenade

Animal Friends of the Valleys will host Paws on the Promenade Dog Walk Spooktacular at the Promenade Temecula on Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. This event will feature a dog costume contest, pet parade, local vendors, treat bags for all participants and raffle prizes. To sign up, visit pawsonthepromenade.org.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a program that teaches and gives one tools on how to address their hurts, habits, and hang-ups so that they can move forward and find their purpose and a life filled with joy. Participants discover that they are not alone in what they are going through and find people to walk alongside them.

Celebrate Recovery meets every Sunday at 6 p.m. in Building C at Canyon Lake Community Church. They offer Celebrate Recovery (recovery for adults 18+); The Landing (recovery for teens); Celebration Place (recovery for kids); and free childcare.

Lioness Bingo Fundraiser

Bingo, sponsored by the Canyon Lake Lioness Club, is held at the Canyon Lake Senior Center on the first and third Sunday of every month from 1 to 4 p.m. Due to State Law, players must be over the age of 18. Admission is $10 per six-sheet set; special games are available for $1 each.

Landscape Rebate Program

EVMWD announced the opening of the new Landscape Transformation Rebate Program. In partnership with Metropolitan Water District, this new program provides a rebate to those who remove turf grass and convert to a water-wise landscape. For more information, visit evmwd.com/rebates.

CLAWS Bunco

Canyon Lake women are invited to attend the Canyon Lake Association of Women (CLAWS) group bunco on the second Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the country club. The cost is $10 per player.
