Chicago music fans are not going to want to miss the next concert sponsored by the Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild. “Kenny Cetera’s Chicago Experience” will perform at the lodge on Aug. 25 and feature the music of the iconic super group Chicago. “Kenny Cetera’s Chicago Experience” provides a full musical experience provided by few other groups anywhere.
VIP tickets are $45; General Admission tickets are $25. Tickets can be purchased from the Fine Arts Guild website at canyonlakeguild.com. General admission tickets are available at the POA office.
Chicago is one of the longest running and most successful rock groups of all time. Originally formed in 1967 as Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago has had a string of chart-busting hits throughout the 60s, 70s and 80s. “Kenny Cetera’s Chicago Experience” will treat the audience to all time favorites, such as “Does Anybody Know What Time It Is,” “If You Leave Me Now,” “25 or 6 to 4,” “Feeling Stronger Every Day,” “Hard Habit to Break” and many more.
Kenny personally performed with Chicago as a vocalist on Chicago 17, Chicago’s best selling album. “I brought my brother Kenny into the group to help sing harmonies and play percussion, keyboard and drums. Unlike other tribute bands, he was actually on stage as a performing part of the original band,” said Chicago lead singer Peter Cetera.
Kenny has also recorded with Richard Marx, Kenny Rogers, Julio Iglesias, Agnethna Faltskog (of ABBA) and producer David Foster. For more information about this concert and other events sponsored by the Fine Arts Guild, visit canyonlakeguild.com.
