Join Yacht Club on sunset cruises

The Canyon Lake Yacht Club invites members of the community to join them on monthly sunset cocktail cruises. The cruises are typically held throughout the summer on the first Saturday of the month. Boats meet at the lodge dock at 6:45 and depart at 7 p.m. Boats cruise around the main lake once, ending at Catfish Cove where boats tie up and members enjoy shared appetizers, cocktails and music.

Those attending are asked to bring an appetizer to share and their own drinks.

The Yacht Club holds club meetings on the fourth Thursday of each month at the lodge. Cocktail hour starts at 5 p.m., dinner is served at 6 p.m. and meeting starts at 7 p.m. The cost of dinner is $15. Boat ownership is not a criterion for membership. Annual membership is $15. Members enjoy fun events throughout the year, including the Moonlight Cruise, Progressive Dinner and Parade of Lights.
