Join CL Travel Club on day trip to Catalina Island

The Travel Club invites adult members of the community to join in on the club’s travel adventures. On Sept. 13, members will spend a day on Catalina Island and explore the many things to do on the island with activities and adventures for all ages.

The cost is $88.00 per member, $93.00 per non-member. The cost includes round-trip by motor coach from the lodge to Newport Beach and round trip on the Catalina Flyer. For reservations, contact Kathy Bacon at 951-246-9968.

The Travel  Club will host its annual dinner-dance on Friday, Sept. 7, in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge. This year’s theme is “Luau in Paradise” and will feature dinner, dancing and entertainment by Aprile DeAnne. Cocktail hour starts at 6 p.m., dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The cost is $45.00 per member, $50.00 per non-member. The reservation deadline is Aug. 27. Annual club membership is $10 per person. Membership is not a requirement to participate in the club’s travel adventures; however, members do receive discounted prices on most of the club’s trips.
