Rose Gilbert fulfilled a goal on her bucket list when she went whitewater rafting in the American River on July 6. It’s something she wanted to do since she was a teenager.
Rose’s husband Dale and mother joined her on her wet and wild adventure.
“It was absolutely exhilarating and thrilling,” said Rose.
The American River is a 120-mile-long river in California that runs from the Sierra Nevada mountain range to its confluence with the Sacramento River in the Sacramento Valley.
