Seniors invited to luau potluck on Sunday

The Senior Center Work Group hosts two potlucks each month at the senior center. Potluck and LCR is held on the second Tuesday of every month at 5 p.m. Potluck and music is held on the last Sunday of every month at 5 p.m.

This Sunday, July 29, potluck and LCR will have a luau theme featuring Hawaiian music and food. Those attending are asked to bring a dish to share and their own drinks.

Other activities at the senior center include Hand and Foot Canasta and needlecraft on Mondays, Canasta on Tuesdays, Duplicate Bridge on the first, third and fifth Tuesdays, Sewing Group and Mexican Train on Wednesdays, Duplicate Bridge, Mahjong and Pinochle on Thursdays, Mexican Train and Poker on Friday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and Bingo on the first and third Sundays at 1 p.m.

Annual events held at the senior center include a New Year’s Eve party and the Holiday Boutique.

The senior center is a multipurpose facility located near the main gate. It is an inviting environment for Canyon Lake seniors to make friends and participate in weekly activities.
